About Us
Welcome to the Cypress Cove Property Owners Association (POA). We are a community‑driven, volunteer‑led organization dedicated to maintaining and improving the shared spaces that make Cypress Cove a great place to live. Our Board of Directors is made up entirely of community volunteers who generously commit their time to ensuring our neighborhood is welcoming, and well‑maintained.
Cypress Cove is made up of 12 unique sections, each contributing to the vibrant character of our community. Annual POA dues support the upkeep, operation, and improvement of our shared amenities, including the Civic Center, community pool, park, fishing pond, Point area, and basketball court.
Annual Dues by Section
• Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, 10 & 11: $24.00 per lot per year
• Section 7: $36.00 per lot per year
• Section 12: $48.00 per lot per year
These dues allow us to preserve the spaces our community enjoys and to continue creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all residents.
Together, we take pride in making Cypress Cove a place we are all proud to call home!
Cypress Cove History
Cypress Cove was formed when First Mortgage of Houston purchased 785 acres of ranch land from the Murhardt Family in the 1960's. Canyon Lake, Ltd. Was formed to develop a new community that would become Cypress Cove. The master plan and design that was implemented was advanced for its time, with a curvilinear street layout and recreation facilities, including a park, fishing pond, Olympic size swimming pool, community center, horse stables, rental cabins and a boat ramp for direct access to Canyon Lake.
